who prefers being barefoot in comfy cloths and hanging out in my studio. People inspire me, nature fascinates me and creation leaves me in awe and wonderment. Everyday is a new adventure, stay amazed and enjoy the journey.
2016 began a series of losses that I could never have fathomed. I was at the top of my industry, chasing success and digging it. It was all good until it wasn’t. You see, I lost my health, my 3 Labradors (two on the same day), almost lost my husband to a solo roll over accident. Not just any accident but one that took him tumbling end over end 30 plus times down a 1200-foot ravine, imagine getting that phone call. Next was finding my picture on a Facebook page out of the middle east, let me tell you, that got my attention. It was time for a change and I had some big decisions to make, I felt so lost. I decided to walk away from it all, close my company and made the decision to have a major surgery.
I took the next 3 years off to rest, heal and rediscover who I was. God knew exactly what it was going to take to get me to finally and fully surrender. It was time to do it HIS way and not mine. You see, I’d gotten really good at the Vicki way but lost much in the process, which was never His plan. For us strong willed independent ones sometimes it takes us a bit longer to get it.
December 2nd 2019, I was driving 450 miles’ solo on a lonely two lane highway towards home. I turned on my worship music and prayed, I asked the Lord for wisdom, guidance and direction. I began to envision myself painting an oversized canvas, a yearning and excitement started to stir. This concept was way out of my comfort zone and something I had never attempted before. It was a Monday, I made a deal with myself on that drive, I was going to go the very next day and buy an oversized canvas and give it a try.
Wednesday December 4th, I sat down, prayed, picked up my paint brush and just let it happen with no expectations. I was in awe, my canvas was beautiful, it was magical, it spoke to me and gave me a feeling of peace. And so it began…
Art helped me heal, art gave me a creative outlet and a new vision. My entrepreneurial spirit began to awaken and I knew that I was onto my next creative adventure. I stay amazed how God speaks to and through me.
Art brings me joy and peace. I am excited to share my love of speaking, teaching, creating and coaching. The best is yet to come…
I joined Toastmasters 10 plus years ago on a dare. Little did I know that that one decision would change my life. I fell in love with the stage, speaking and influencing my audiences into action. Whether your looking for a dynamic speaker or a powerful live artistic demonstration I'd love to be considered.
After the attempted abduction of my 10 year old daughter in 2007 I was propelled into action to educate, encourage and empower others. I started a company and did just that, in fact I have trained thousands in the art of self protection for over a decade. I am an expert on a variety of topics and would LOVE to develop a customized workshop/seminar for you.
